Massage CEU Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Massage CEU Course is designed to provide a solid foundation to anyone wishing to practice Thai Bodywork.
It is my aim to teach Thai Massage in it’s truest, most authentic form.
This is a basic Thai Massage class that presents the student with everything needed to perform a Thai Massage. The class teaches a sequence with emphasis on body mechanics, theory, ethics, and teachings on Thai culture as relates to massage.

The student will learn how to give a 1 to 2 hour Thai Massage. You will learn a basic knowledge of the history, theory, and spiritual practices that make Thai Bodywork unique.

I am presenting Thai Bodywork without the influences of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine or Western Bodywork as found commonly in other Thai Massage classes.

Classes will meet 10 am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch.
Classes meet weekly for 6 weeks: June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, and July 8.

 

This is a Level 1 Class and a prerequisite to other classes that I will offer in the future.

36 Hours CEU Credit for Licensed Massage Therapists. 

Six 6 hour classes

Tuition is $450
Location: Dallas Texas
Prerequisite: This class is for Licensed Massage Therapists. A background in Massage and a knowledge of Anatomy is required.

Why choose this class?

I am primarily a Massage Therapist and most of my time is spent giving massage. Simply put, I have more experience actually giving Thai Bodywork. I can share that experience and insights with my students.

I have studied under many Teachers, some here in the US and in Thailand. Each of these Teachers have given me something unique, whether in technique or in theory. Some of them have passed on knowledge that you simply won’t get in many Western schools or from many schools in Thailand.
The course that I teach is completely authentic and unlike any other.
